The brief to this logo was complicated and challenging involving ‘magik’ letters, cyberpunk, elvish, Saxon art, metalurgy, Blade Runner, Victoriana and Jack ‘King’ Kirby.
With all these elements in the stew I tried to have each letter encompassing one of these elements while interacting with the other letterforms. The ring holds it all in place – in it’s own world. Of course this had to be readable at any size and not too tied down to it’s niche styles.
I prefer the simpler, non-mithril-electro-plated version…
It will be fun to do the business cards.
