Old Sketchbook week: No.2 A bit of a BLAST.

Now there I was in 1993/4 in a dead end graphics job. We had little work and some brand new Apple Macs. I decided to make myself a magazine / calling card instead of getting bored. This got me a job designing on the NME – my dream job which turned out to not as I had imagined and didn’t last long. The mention of the NME got me past the next interview for a position designing music ads… and after a while… here I am.

This owes a lot to the mouthpiece of Vorticism: BLAST.
