The same friends that commissioned the Power Viewer logo also wanted a logo for their easy to use, simple and cheaper brand, Digital Magazine Converter. Starting with the initials DMC, I merged them together to form the friendly invader you see here. The light cyan is where the D meets the M and the M meets the C. The application converts paper magazines into digital magazines (pixels) so it has some logic as well as being striking. The type connects nicely with the image without being flashy.

Peter Saville’s purple patch of work for New Order around 1983 and my favorite Graffiti tiler, Invader.
