Life Drawing Holiday Special: The kids.

We had a family break in Derbyshire. In the gap between oatcakes and pies there was a little time to sketch the family.

A drawing again
Googles were a fashion item on this holiday. Was it to do with the amount of rain?

Did I run out of room or was it intentional? The top half was never completed.

A drawing
The table was red checks. Which would not be right in a drawing.

E and A drawingTwo boys drawing. One who’s feet kept on moving, one who kept getting up, hence the bonus lines around the figures. Fun to try and keep up.

E three timesMy youngest wanted to join in on the work. Which was nice.

Beautiful family sketches, thank you for sharing. 🙂
I am reading the XXI article abt the “raketenkaiser” with your gorgeous illustrations, and I am wondering, so you sometimes work with models or photographies? The characters you draw are sometimes very different from each others. Sometimes very loose, sometimes very… accurate I might say?
