This painting has been hanging in a my father-in-law’s house for many years now; I realised the other day that there wasn’t a good photographic record of it, which this post solves. The mix of dark and light makes it rather hard to photograph. This oil painting tried to convey the different personalities of the sisters. The inspirations and influences are lost. I remember the background was enjoyable to get lost in while painting. I’ve use foliage as a background a far bit since, it interests the eye without being too distracting.
