Influences: Velasquez has a habit of having paintings and or mirrors within paintings.
See ‘Christ in the House of Martha and Mary’ at the National Gallery. The colour palette is earthy, quite Giorgio Morandi and the composition has a little bit of Winifred Knights in its planned perspective.
