There seems to be something rather wrong with the left arm position. I didn’t notice at the time. Made on the floor. Rather large.
Now I’ve been getting a bit obsessed with what went wrong with this arm.
So I’ve started sketching while on the way to and from work. From the angle I couldn’t see as well.
That didn’t really help. So I went back to the big image and manipulated it in photoshop to see if it couldn’t be more ‘right’. I just could not make the arm fit properly.
I’ve even posed myself to find out where I was going wrong.
Hmmm. Never mind.
Back to the life drawing.
Any colour apart from lemon yellow.
Made with both hands at the same time.
Made without looking at the paper. I’m happy with these, you get a sense of the body in space.
