Eric Ravilious was an inspiration. The type was created from the Judas Kiss fonts.

The book illustrations are based on:

The big book:
Century by Phaidon & Reasons To Be Cheerful (The life and work of Barney Bubbles) by Adelita.
The Barney Bubbles design book I have by my side when I work. I ended up doing the cover of Adelita’s book on Mr.Freedom.

The bookshop Book:
 W H Auden’s shorter poems by Faber
A book I’m going through on the commute. He’s very good but I feel I’m missing something.

The bottom book: One Hundred Days (an old 1950’s? book about Napoleon’s escape from Elba to Waterloo).
A great little book. It tells you that Napoleon cheated his mum at cards!

Suport small bookshops.

Reading stuff on a screen sucks.
